Video from Houston gas station shows why you should lock your doors

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- In case you need another reminder to lock your car doors when you're pumping gas, check out this video.

It happened at an Exxon station on Weslayan. You can see a man get out of an SUV and then drop to the ground and open the driver's door of a car that's being filled with gas. The man tried to grab the woman's wallet and then drove off.

The woman filling her gas tank sees what's happening and tries to get another driver to help out.

Fortunately in this situation, the crook dropped the wallet, but it's a good reminder why you should lock your doors at the gas station.
