Video released of Spring HS deadly stabbing

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- For the first time a Harris County jury saw surveillance video of a school fight that left a 17-year-old student stabbed to death.

The video shows a large commotion involving a handful of Spring High School students near the cafeteria. The victim, Joshua Broussard, is then seen walking away while leaving a small trail of blood in the hallway. Broussard was grasping his stomach with a large stain of blood on his white shirt.

Prosecutors say then 17-year-old Luis Alfaro initiated the fight and stabbed the victim on September 4, 2013. Alfaro is now on trial facing murder charges.
