HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A U.S. military veteran who suffered from PTSD held a fundraiser Saturday hoping to help other veterans.
The event is called "No Soldier Left Behind," and it was held at the American Legion in Spring Branch.

Visitors met Texans cheerleaders and enjoyed live music and barbecue.
Pat Salas organized this along with the PTSD Foundation of America to raise awareness of the problems experienced by many veterans.
"There's so many outlets out there, but there's so many vets that feel like they have no help for themselves," Salas said.

"But there's help and there's people like them and like me, and we create these support groups that help us carry on."
All ticket sales proceeds benefit the PTSD Foundation of America.
