Valet crashes car into pool
A valet accidentally sent a car crashing into indoor pool at a condominium complex.

CAMBRIDGE, MA (KTRK) -- A valet at a condominium complex in Cambridge, Massachusetts lost control of a van and sent it crashing into the building's indoor pool.

He told authorities a rug went under a pedal and he lost control of the vehicle.

Local station WCVB reports the car zoomed forward at a high rate of speed for about 100 feet, sending the car through a wall and into the pool - its windshield wipers still splashing away, this time at pool water.

The car landed in the shallow end of the pool in about four-feet-deep water. The valet had minor injuries in the crash. Police say it was an accident and no charges have been filed in the case.
