HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Uber rides to some of the city's most important LGBT landmarks will be free this weekend in Houston and other major cities.

In the wake of the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history on Sunday at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Uber announced it will offer two free rides per user, up to $20 in value per ride, to these LGBT cultural and social centers.

In Houston, Uber will offer free trips to the Montrose Center, Legacy Community Health, AssistHers, South Beach nightclub, and Pearl Lounge nightclub.

In San Francisco, riders can go to Harvey Milk Plaza and in New York City, the iconic Stonewall Inn.

The free rides end at midnight on Monday, June 20.

The company has already been giving unlimited free rides to the families of victims and survivors of the Orlando mass shooting.

They are joined in a coordinated effort by JetBlue and Air BNB to provide free flights and housing.
