Tip leads to child porn charge for Houston man

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A tip led authorities to arrest a Houston man on child porn charges.

Harris County Sheriff's Office High Tech Crimes has charged Joshua Fairchild with three counts of possession and distribution of child pornography based on information provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

A forensic examination of Farichild's cell phone revealed "numerous" images of child pornography, investigators say, adding that Fairchild admitted to using his phone to search for and download images of child sexual assault.

He is being held on $60,000 bond.
