Thousands of marijuana plants found in Polk County

POLK COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Thousands of marijuana plants have been found in Polk County as part of a large grow operation.

Investigators say a land owner found the plants this weekend while at a deer lease and called for help.

Officers checked the land near Goodrich this afternoon and found the plants. They are removing all the plants.

One person was taken into custody.
