FRIENDSWOOD, TX (KTRK) -- A warning to those of you in Friendswood -- lock your car doors. Police say more than two dozen unlocked vehicles have been burglarized there in the last two days.

Thieves got into 30 unlocked vehicles in subdivisions mainly off of Falcon Ridge, West Road and Sunset Drive. Several items were stolen, including three firearms.

There is some home surveillance video being reviewed to get a suspect description or a description of the suspects' vehicle. In the video taken December 23 at around 3:20am, two young males wearing light-colored hoodies are seen opening the unlocked vehicle door and going through the center console.

Residents are encouraged to call the police if they are concerned about any suspicious activity around their home or neighborhood.

Police say they'll set up patrols in the neighborhoods, but also want to remind residents that they should always lock their vehicle doors.
