Thieves install skimmer on La Marque Valero gas pump
LA MARQUE, Texas (KTRK) -- If you gas up your vehicle in La Marque, you need to pay attention to this report.
Police said they found a skimming device at the Valero Gas Station at FM 519 and Main Street.
Now investigators want people who used credit or debit cards at the station to take notice because their data may have been stolen.
Police say the suspects pried open the gas pump, attached the skimmer, then superglued the door shut so it would appear secure.
If you filled up at that Valero station, you should check your bank and credit card statements immediately.
Call La Marque police if you find any suspicious activity on your accounts.
