Teen shot outside home following fight

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A gunman looking for revenge shot a teen in southwest Houston.

Police say a fight between two groups of people outside a home in the 12,700 block of Dairy Brook last night. Officers say one individual was "hit pretty severely" and the two groups dispersed.

After the fight, someone returned to the home and fired at least 10 rounds towards the house. An 18-year-old boy standing outside the home was shot in the neck. Detectives say the victim was not involved in the first fight.

There is no word on the teen's condition, but police say they do not expect him to survive
