Teen pleads guilty to manslaughter in wreck that killed 2 Katy ISD students
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A teen who crashed a pickup truck in 2014, killing two Katy-area teens, will serve prison time after pleading guilty to two counts of manslaughter Thursday.
Aaron Jamison pleaded guilty as part of a deal. The crash happened after a bonfire back in 2014.

Jamison will spend 180 days in jail, serve 30 hours of community service, write apology letters to all families affected and serve 10 years deferred adjudication.
The sentence will be split. He'll go to jail for 90 days starting in August. Then next June, he'll go back to jail for another 90 days. His lawyer says Jamison will go to classes in the time in between at Houston Community College.
This all stems from a deadly rollover wreck in December of 2014 that killed 16-year-old Terra Kubala and 17-year-old Trent Weber. They were two of several teens in the bed of Jamison's truck when it rolled over as they left the bonfire.
Witnesses told police marijuana and alcohol were present at the party.
After the sentencing, the mothers of both victims read their impact statements. Media cameras had to be turned off.
The mother of Tara Kubala said, "You killed her. I don't know you, Aaron, and I don't know how you process what you did, but you are responsible for killing. Now is your time to go to jail."
Jamison sat quietly with his arms crossed with hardly any expression.
"The first time we had to take a family photo without Trent, it took us forever to smile. We are all feeling like there is a missing piece," said Trent Weber's mother.
After it was all over, Jamison and his parents quickly left while the families of the victims embraced each other. No one wanted to talk on camera.
