HOUSTON (KTRK) -- In an Eyewitness News exclusive, only our cameras were there as Houston firefighters pulled a baby from the wreckage of an SUV involved in a police chase overnight.
The silver Nissan Xterra crashed at the South Loop and Scott, flipping on its side.
Police say it started as a disturbance, and HPD chased the vehicle that had been reported stolen.
The chase lasted for about two blocks before it overturned.
The 19-year-old driver, a 15-year-old passenger, and the baby were all taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver is now facing charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading arrest and child endangerment.
