Drugs, weapons found after SWAT standoff
One suspect was arrested and another got away

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A SWAT standoff in northwest Harris County overnight ended with one arrest and the discovery of a cache of weapons. Authorities are still looking for one more person.

This all started yesterday evening when deputies tried to serve a search warrant for stolen weapons believed to be at the home on Williams near N. Houston Rosslyn. The suspect refused to open the door, so deputies called for SWAT and they surrounded the home.

A couple hours later, a suspect surrendered. Thinking there was one more person inside, SWAT sent in a robot to search the house. No one was inside.

Deputies found a large number of rifles, pistols and drugs in the home. Deputies believe the weapons are connected to a series of burglaries.
