SUV plunges 20 feet off of I-45, driver in critical condition
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An SUV crashed into a car traveling southbound on I-45 at a high rate of speed, late Sunday night.
The collision caused the SUV to go over the guard rail and drop 20-30 feet to a parking lot below.
The male driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital in critical condition and the female driver of the car was not injured.
Investigators believe speed was the major factor in the cause of the accident.
