Suspect in custody after barricading himself in SE Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man who barricaded himself inside an apartment complex in southeast Houston is in custody after a police SWAT standoff, Harris County deputies said.

SWAT responded to a suspect barricaded in an apartment complex in the 7200 block of Patricia Lane.

Deputies report that the man robbed an elderly person then broke into an apartment where he was barricaded.

After a SWAT standoff, the man was transported to the hospital for not life-threatening injuries. His identity has not been released.
