PASADENA, TX -- Things just got tougher for Allen Sutherland.
The single father has been staying in a motel with three and a half-year old son, and hoping for a chance to get life back in order after being displaced by an electrical fire at his home on August 25.
The house suffered minimal smoke and water damage, but the electrical system was heavily impacted, and Sutherland, who has several health issues and is on disability, is hoping help is on the way.
As of now, the house is uninhabitable and he needs a licensed electrician to repair the wiring so he can move back in.
Financially, that's become a greater obstacle that he realized.
