Shark fatally mauls diver off Australian coast

PERTH, Australia (KTRK) -- In Australia, a diver was killed by a shark bigger than the boat that tried to rescue her.

The 60-year-old woman was diving off Australia's western coast when a shark attacked her.

Fishermen pulled the woman out of the water, but she died from her wounds. The fishermen say the shark was bigger than their 17-feet-long boat.

Last Tuesday, a shark killed a surfer 60 miles from where this attack happened.
