Investigators said a man has ben arrested after making suspicious comments at the White House

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KTRK) -- A person is in custody after reports of a suspicious package at the White House.

The U.S. Secret Service tells ABC News they are investigating the incident.

The acknowledgment comes after several reports that the White House was placed on lockdown earlier this morning.

The White House grounds are secure on Saturday afternoon after a jumper got over a fence.
