Search underway for chase suspect in north Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A search underway right now for a driver who led authorities on high speed chase in north Harris County then crashed.

This is all happening around Ella and FM 1960.

We're hearing a driver led officers on a chase along 1960, then crashed. He ran to a nearby apartment complex.

Officers and a police helicopter have been searching the area. We're told the vehicle was reported stolen.
