Search teams find body of missing kayaker

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The search for a missing kayaker has come to a tragic end.

Precinct 4 deputy constables confirmed they have found the body of Brian Conner, 42, who went missing over the weekend while kayaking with his wife.

His wife, Terri Connor, called 911 Saturday night after she says her husband went under water along Cypress Creek and never resurfaced.

Firefighters spent much of the weekend searching for Connor, using thermal cameras and boats with sonar, but didn't turn up anything until early this morning when they found his body in the general area where they had been searching.
