Friends hold vigil for Jessica Cain, Christine Dobbyn reports.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators searching for the body of Jessica Cain are focusing their efforts on the neighboring property on East Orem Drive.

Police tore down a barn and part of a fence. They also mowed the grass in the field Monday, preparing to dig there.

A law enforcement source on scene said the Friendswood Police Department flew in a K-9 search unit from California to assist. He said the dog is not a cadaver dog; instead it specializes in finding bones.

William Reece, a convicted kidnapper and suspect in Cain's disappearance, has been on site periodically during the last few weeks. An investigator said they are following Reece's instructions on where to dig.

The law enforcement source also said they are working on another site in the area also connected to Reece. He could not disclose that location at this time.
