Robbery suspects target Sugar Land-area cell phone store

SUGAR LAND, TX (KTRK) -- Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is asking for help identifying the two men who robbed a cell phone store in the Sugar Land area.

The heist happened July 28 at the Cell Spa store in the 11000 block of Highway 6 South.

The Fort Bend County Sherriff's Office said the first suspect walked into the cell phone outlet to look at some phones when he reached into his waistband as if he had a weapon, but did not show one. This happened as the second suspect stood at the front door pointing a handgun at the clerk.

The first suspect is a black male who appears to be in his early 20s and is 5-foot-8 with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap with an orange or red bill.

The second suspect is a 6-foot-2 black male with a thicker build and goatee. He also appears to be in his early 20s and wore a dark shirt with an upside-down "V" on the front with dark-colored long shorts and white tennis shoes. He was caught on video prior to the robbery when he walked into a Shell gas station nearby.
