Robbery suspects smash glass case, steal jewelry from Kay Jewelers at Katy Mills Mall

KATY, TX (KTRK) -- Surveillance video shows two men smashing a jewelry display case and running away with stolen items at Kay Jewelers at Katy Mills Mall.

From beginning to end, the robbery takes 24 seconds. It happened at 9pm Thursday night, while the store was still open for business.

Katy Police say the thieves raced out a nearby exit and got into a waiting black Ram Charger with a hidden license plate.

Police aren't revealing how much the thieves got away with.

This is the third robbery police have responded to at Katy Mills Mall in the past six months.
