Protest against Israeli offensive held outside Galleria

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Hundreds of local people gathered in the Galleria area today to protest against the Israeli offensive in Gaza.

These people were demanding that the Israelis leave Gaza. This was the deadliest day of the offensive in Gaza.

At least 87 Palestinians and 13 Israeli soldiers were killed during the fighting. This raises the death toll to at least 425 Palestinians killed and 20 Israeli deaths.

The Israelis say the Hamas terror group has rejected a UN humanitarian cease-fire.
