Andre Roy is accused of fatally stabbing a 60-year-old man.

HOUSTON -- Police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death outside the Neiman Marcus store at The Galleria.

It all started around 8:50pm as a confrontation at a bus stop on Post Oak outside the upscale department store.

Homicide detectives say it appears the 60-year-old victim was either walking down the sidewalk or waiting for the bus when he was attacked. The man died from multiple stab wounds at a nearby hospital.

Andre Roy, 30, has been arrested, accused in the deadly stabbing. An eyewitness who saw the situation was able to detain the accused killer until officers arrived on the scene.

Investigators say the stabbing may have been the end result of an attempted robbery.
