End of the night fight ends in shooting at NW Harris County bar

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriff's deputies received a call to the Q STIX Billiard's and Sports Bar around 2:20 this morning. Investigators say a shooting happened right after the bar closed. Patrons and employees were still inside.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office tells us there was some sort of argument in the parking lot off FM 1960 and Ella. At least two men came into the bar. A third followed them in and shot them, one in the leg and one in the stomach.

Eyewitness news talked to a bartender, Michael Banks, who was there when it happened.

"A guy flashes a gun at the door. Everybody hit the deck. We heard two gunshots and here we are. One guy got hit in the leg and another got shot somewhere in the stomach but both of them are okay," said Banks.

The victims are receiving treatment at Houston Northwest Medical Center and should be okay.

The shooter escaped.
