HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A teenager is in trouble with the law and his mother after a burglary report revealed his alleged illicit behavior.

It all started when Ethan Kwon's mother noticed some cash was missing from a nightstand in her Happy Valley, Oregon, home. She checked surveillance video, and sure enough, her camera captured a woman entering her Oregon home and leaving a few minutes later.

Kwon's mother then called 9-1-1 to report the incident and even tells dispatcher her son was even home when it happened.

"But he had headphones on with his room door closed, so he was not aware," she tells the dispatcher.

"It was just the money you noticed missing, right?" the dispatcher asks.

"Right, and some money from my son's wallet that was sitting out there, too," the mother replies.

Police arrived at the scene, and their investigation quickly turned in a new direction. They say the woman captured on video turned out to be a prostitute the teenage son hired and his mother had no idea.

Now Kwon is facing charges of filing a false report and patronizing a prostitute.

Police are still trying to identify the woman.
