HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators say four teenagers are in custody, including a 14-year-old, after two carjackings, one car theft, and two separate police chases.

Police are still searching for two suspects.

Investigators said three cars were stolen by the same group of suspects. Two of the vehicles were allegedly taken in carjackings, while one was reportedly stolen while the victim was getting gas.

Police say one of the victims was pistol whipped.

An officer saw all three vehicles at a gas station on the northwest side of Houston near Antoine and West Tidwell as the suspects were filling up one of the vehicles.

The officer called for backup and then tried to stop the vehicles, but they took off.

The suspects in one car ended up running out of gas, while another ended up crashing into a tree. The third vehicle was found abandoned at an apartment complex.

The suspects are all in their teens.

"Two females were in one car, one was 15, and one was 17," Harris County Sheriff's Lt. Larry Crowson said. "I believe the males in the other car, one was 14, the other was 19."

Police are now looking to see if the teens may be connected to other crimes in the area.
