The victim only had superficial injuries from flying glass, but you can see bullet holes across the length of his pickup truck.

Tony Brannon tells Eyewitness News he thought he might die as the glass busted inside his vehicle.

Brannon was coming off the I-10 interchange at 59 when he pulled in front of a black car.

The next thing he knew, the glass was hitting the back of his head, and he found himself pulling off to the first place he could.

All we know right now is the shooter was a man, but there is no description on his vehicle.

Brannon said it was possibly a sports car, possibly a Charger, but he isn't certain.

The victim said there was no indication he had cut the man off, no speeding or honking. Just a blast of gunfire and a quick response to keep from getting hit.
