Police searching for armed man who robbed NE Houston washateria
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are searching for an armed man who robbed a northeast Houston washateria.
Police say they received a call around 1pm from someone who said a washateria in the 6500 block of Laura Kopppe and several customers had just been robbed.
The suspect initially fled on foot then jumped into a red van on Burnett Street and drove south on Lanewood. From SkyEye HD, police could be seen with their guns drawn in search for the suspect.
The suspect was described only as an armed black male with a black backpack.
