Police: Robbers dressed in drag for jewelry shop heist

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL -- Police say they snatched some jewelry, and then sashayed away.

They're talking about two men who were caught on camera dressed in drag during a heist at a Deerfield Beach jewelry shop.

The two suspects are also accused in a check cashing store robbery in Pompano Beach.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office says the two suspects were recorded as they took down two jewelry store employees and ransacked the shop of watches and other valuables.

Two robbers dressed in women's clothing ransacked a jewelry shop of hundreds of thousands in watches and jewels

But when the duo tried to leave the store, the door was locked.

As they demanded for employees to open the door, one of the suspects crashed into a desk in an attempt to jump over the counter.

He got back up and both suspects eventually strolled out the door with their loot.

There is now a $3,000 reward being offered for tips that lead to their arrest.
