Police: Man shot, killed in SW Houston; Gunman unknown

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are investigating after a man was killed in a shooting in southwest Houston.

The shooting happened around 10pm at an apartment complex in the 12600 block of Dunlap Street at Greencraig Drive.

Investigators say a resident heard someone firing a pistol and discovered the body of a young Hispanic man on the ground.

When firefighters arrived, they found the man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim has not yet been identified, and there is no word yet on any suspects involved in the shooting.

Officers say the shooting may have been drug related.
