SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- Deputies arrested two people they said are responsible for a robbery that occurred at a Spring convenience store on Christmas Day.

It happened at around 6pm on December 25. Deputies were called to the Speedy Stop convenience store in the 25600 block of Interstate 45 in Spring.

The clerk reported that an armed man entered the store wearing a mask and demanded money. The clerk complied and gave him an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the store to a waiting car being driven by a female accomplice, according to authorities.

Arriving units searched the area for the suspects but they didn't track them down. The next day, a deputy on patrol recognized a possible suspect vehicle involved in the robbery.

An investigation at that scene led to the arrest of Jimmy Tran, 33, and Brenda Price, 36. Evidence was recovered from an apartment and a remote location identifying the two suspects as the two persons involved in the robbery.
