Police make arrest in murder outside southwest Houston pizza shop

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police have made an arrest in a murder that happened Monday in a busy area along Westheimer.

Jeremiah Carter, 19, is in custody for the murder that happened outside a business on Westheimer near Fondren in the middle of the day.

A 26-year-old man was shot in the parking lot during an argument. He died at the hospital.

Investigators have not said what that argument was about.
