BAYTOWN, Texas (KTRK) -- The suspected gunman in the murder of Harris County Precinct 3 Assistant Chief Deputy Clint Greenwood was at the scene the day before, according to newly released video.

The video was taken the day before the killing, and it shows the suspect drive up and then walk toward the area Clint Greenwood was ambushed. The spot is now a memorial to the murdered officer.

Police believe the suspect was driving a 2017 Nissan Versa Note to the back of the Baytown courthouse Sunday afternoon.

New video shows deputy constable murder suspect casing the scene, Jessica Willey reports.

Greenwood had parked his patrol car Monday in the same place where the suspect is seen walking to in the video.

The video then shows the man returning to his car and then driving away.

The same suspect and car were allegedly seen leaving the area immediately after Greenwood was gunned down on Monday, police said.

The new video was released as Greenwood's widow made an emotional plea for help finding the killer at Greenwood's memorial service on Thursday.

"If anyone has any information about my husband's death," Leatha Greenwood said. "Let us know something."

The reward in the case is now at $65,000.
