Dominos employee robbed, shot while trying to deliver pizza

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A delivery driver is recovering at the hospital after being robbed and shot while trying to deliver a pizza.

It happened around 10:30pm last night when the Dominos employee pulled up to the Bateswood Manor Apartments on Memorial at Bateswood in far west Houston.

As the man got out of his car to deliver the pizza, two men approached him, demanded his cash and then shot him in the arm. The two armed robbers then took off on foot. It's still unclear what those robbers stole, if anything.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
