Deputies: Pedestrian hit and killed crossing FM 1960 in northwest Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was hit and killed by a vehicle Sunday afternoon on FM 1960 in northwest Harris County, deputies said.

According to investigators, the man was attempting to cross FM 1960 near Champion Forest Drive when he was struck by a car.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle is being questioned by investigators.
