Pasadena woman charged in fatal shooting

PASADENA, TX -- A woman has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of another woman that occurred in Pasadena on Saturday July 19, according to Pasadena police.

Alissa Porter Elmore, 47, was charged with murder this week for allegedly shooting 52-year old Sherry Blankenship in the head outside her Pasadena residence at the 3100 block of Redfield Drive.

According to police, the shooting occurred during a verbal altercation between the two women.
