BAYTOWN, Texas (KTRK) -- A popular pizza delivery chain is working to raise money for the family of fallen Precinct 3 Assistant Chief Deputy Clint Greenwood.

Greenwood was a 30-year veteran of law enforcement who lost his life on April 3 while arriving to work at the Baytown County courthouse.

On Monday, all proceeds from 78 Papa John's locations in the Greater Houston area will be donated to Assistant Chief Deputy Greenwood's family.

Baytown police officers will also be in the kitchen making some of the pizzas ordered at one of the Baytown Papa John's locations.

Papa John's holds a record of selling 50,000 pizzas in one day, Monday they think they'll beat it.

One of the deputies from Precinct 3 told Eyewitness News that the line was out the door and that the location began getting busy at 10 a.m.

Some other community events will donate proceeds to the family:

A clay tournament will be held in honor of Assistant Chief Deputy Greenwood.

Baytown Crawfish Company and Catering is hosting a crawfish cookoff where all proceeds will go to Assistant Chief Deputy Greenwood's family and 100 Club.
