Orange-nosed sheep can help you clean up after holidays
Have a Halloween pumpkin you no longer need? A sheep can help you take care of that.

MAULDIN, SC (KTRK) -- Have a Halloween pumpkin you no longer need? A sheep can help you take care of that.

At Whispering Pines Farm, Dairy and Cheesery in South Carolina, Debbie Webster has discovered health benefits of eating pumpkins for sheep.

"That pumpkins were actually a great source of vitamins and potassium for them. It also helps them get rid of any kind of internal parasites and stuff. And plus they love it!" Webster told WSPA-TV.

After the farm put a call out on Facebook, a local church donated several pumpkins to them. They say they'll accept them as long as they don't have any wax inside or paint.

"The one with the orange noses...you know those are the ones that really like it," Webster quipped.

The sheep have another holiday to look forward to, also -- the farm also accepts Christmas trees.
