One killed, one injured after argument ends in gunfire

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One person is dead and a second at the hospital after an argument ended in gunfire at a north Houston apartment complex.

It happened just before midnight last night at a complex in the 17100 block of Imperial Valley at Greens.

Houston police say all the people invovled knew each other and got into some sort of argument. A 35-year-old man was struck by gunfire and killed. A second person was shot in the leg and was taken to Northwest Memorial Hospital.

Witnesses gave police a description of the suspect that fled on foot. Officers are still looking for that person.
