HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Harris County authorities are increasing patrols this holiday weekend, hoping to put drunk drivers behind bars.
Under the no refusal law, search warrants will be issued to draw the blood of suspected drunk drivers who refuse to give samples.
Plus, extra prosecutors will be on duty to assist law enorcement agencies in filing cases on intoxicated drivers.
The initiative begins on the evening of Friday, August 29th and goes through the morning of Monday, September 1st.
