CONNECTICUT --A shoplifting call took a terrifying turn for a Connecticut police officer this week.
He responded after reports that a man and a woman stole $190 worth of beer.
The officer stopped the suspects' vehicle and as he approached the car, he saw the driver reach for a handgun and a struggle ensued.
The driver took off and the officer was dragged for about 150 yards before he could free himself.
He suffered only minor injuries.
Police are still looking for the suspects.
