BAYTOWN (KTRK) -- Several people were arrested in Baytown after a call about loud music turned into a wild scene, according to police.

It happened at around midnight on May 4 at a home in the 3900 block of Cary Creek. Officers say they'd been to the residence earlier after a complaint about loud music and were called back out again.

Investigators say police spoke with Jose Zepeda, 30, at the home and told him he'd be cited for the loud music. Police say Zepeda told them he wouldn't sign the citation because he was at his home.

As this was happening, police say Zepeda's friends and family approached.

Officers say they tried to arrest Zepeda. That's when they say his friends and family told him to refuse officers' orders and run.

Police say they were approached by three males -- Rodolpfo Zepeda, 19, Edgar Garcia, 24 and Christian Zepeda, 23. They say the males started pushing them and trying to break their grip on Jose Zepeda.

Officers used pepper spray on the males who they say refused commands, as Jose Zepeda tried to run.

Police say Christian Zepeda assaulted one of the officers and as he ran towards the home, was hit with a Taser by officers. They also say Adrian Gonzalez, 30, and Edgar Garcia were arrested for assaulting an officer. Police reportedly used a Taser on Edgar Garcia. Police tell us Erica Clarke, 27, was arrested after lying on top of Edgar Garcia in an attempt to prevent officers from arresting him.

Meantime, Maria Zepeda, 53, was hit with a Taser and arrested while reportedly grabbing and assaulting officers as they were trying to arrest Christian Zepeda.

All of those who were arrested were charged with interference with public duties, according to Baytown police.

The Baytown Police Department internal affairs office is reviewing the incident. Police say an appointment was made to try to review the case with a member of the Zepeda family, but that family liaison failed to appear.
