City fixes huge pothole in southwest Houston
A pothole so big we could easily see it from SkyEye HD gets fixed in less than 24 hours

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A pothole so big we could easily see it from SkyEye HD gets fixed in less than 24 hours.

On Tuesday afternoon, SkyEye HD spotted a pothole at Bissonnet and Woodfair in southwest Houston.

On Wednesday, we sent Investigative Reporter Ted Oberg out to get to the bottom of the deep hole. Drivers stopped traffic to tell Ted how bad it was, how they've lost tires and damaged rims to that monster. We called the city and filed it on the 311 app. And good news, Wednesday's return visit by SkyEye just hours after Ted's visit shows a smooth street.

Do you think you know where Houston's #worstroad is? Send Ted a tweet @tedoberg.

We've been on the problem for years. More recently we held the city accountable for not spending the extra money they devoted to your roads fast enough. After that February report, the Mayor pledged to make fixing street conditions an even greater priority.
