Murder charges filed in last week's deadly shooting on TSU campus

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Murder charges have been filed in last week's deadly shooting on the TSU campus.

Police say Jartis Leon LeBlanc, Jr., shot and killed Brent Randall last week at an off-campus housing complex.

According to court documents, LeBlanc opened fire on Randall and his older brother in retaliation for a shooting which occurred the night before in almost the exact same location.

Randall's brother was critically injured in the shooting.
