Mother, teen son badly burned in Montgomery Co. mobile home fire
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX (KTRK) -- Arson investigators are trying to determine what started the Montgomery County house fire which left two people with serious injuries.

Authorities tell Eyewitness News the fire appears to have sparked near the front porch of the mobile home located on Deer Trace near Oak Arbor Drive, but can't say yet if it was intentionally set.
A neighbor called 911 at about 2:45am. The home was consumed by flames before firefighters arrived, even though the Needham Fire station is just a block away.
"I don't know how I would deal with that if that happened to me you know," said neighbor James Ybarra.
While fire crews battled the flames back, they located two victims in the back yard. They suffered serious burns to their faces and heads but were somehow able to get out.
"They were able to force the back door open. They found them on the ground in the back yard by the back door," said Needham Fire & Rescue Chief Kevin Hosler.
Authorities have not released the names of the injured. A 46-year-old mother is in critical condition at Memorial Hermann Hospital, according to investigators. They say she has first- and second-degree burns over 32 percent of her body. Her son -- also in critical condition -- is now said to be 13 years old. He is at the burn unit at UTMB Galveston. He has first-and second-degree burns over 52 percent of his body.
There were two other people at the home at the time of the fire. Investigators are looking to talk to them still.
