SPLENDORA, TX (KTRK) -- Two young girls will have to grow up without their parents. The Splendora family was involved in a crash with a suspected drunk driver. The young father and mother did not survive.

The small towns that dot US 59 in East Montgomery County make up a community where most folks know each other by name. The loss of one life here is hard to handle, but the loss of two lives at the same time is devastating

"It took my son from me, you took my daughter-in-law from me, you left my grandbabies orphans," said John Frazier, the victim's father.

Frazier is facing the grim task of having to bury not one but two children. His son Brad Frazier and his daughter-in-law Shea Frazier were both killed when authorities say a drunk driver crashed into them Sunday evening around 7pm.

They were both just 21 years old, leaving behind two little girls -- one of them barely six weeks old; the other is two years old.

Alejandro Guzman Lopez, 23, is charged with intoxication manslaughter, being held on a $600,000 bond in the Montgomery County Jail.

As family members grieve the loss, they've set up Go Fund Me accounts to help pay for Brad's funeral service, as well another account to help pay for Shea's funeral services.
