Mom accused of school fight appears in court
A mom accused of punching a teen is ordered to stay away from the girl

CYPRESS, TX (KTRK) -- A local mother accused of repeatedly punching a 14-year-old girl during a fight in the halls of a high school is now being told to stay away from that girl.

Those instructions came from a judge at the Harris County courthouse Monday during a brief appearance. Claudia Warner, 34, dressed in an orange jumpsuit, agreed to have no contact with the victim.

Warner is in jail right now on $30,000 bond, charged with injury to a child.

Warner was arrested last Tuesday after video allegedly showed her and her daughter involved in a fight with another student. That video has now gone viral. Cell phone video shows what looks like Warner coming into the cafeteria at Langham Creek High School and participating in that fight.

Prosecutors say Warner had a 4-inch knife with her at the time of the alleged attack.

Warner's 14-year-old daughter was also arrested. She's a juvenile, so we don't have information on where she is.

Warner's attorney says she'll be back in court in four weeks.
