METRO light rail collides with vehicle in Medical Center

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A METRO light rail train collided with a car in the Medical Center this morning.

Emergency crews responded to the accident on Fannin at Bates after 7:30am.

SkyEye was over the scene and there was a car facing the wrong direction. It appears the driver drove the wrong way on the rail line and got pinned between the oncoming train and divider fencing.

There was no word of any injuries.
